Allocated by formula from the EPA to the La. Department of Environmental Quality’s (DEQ) Louisiana Clean Water State Revolving Fund.  Includes funding for the General Program and Emerging Contaminants Program (new direct funding category within CWSRF).

Allocated by formula from the EPA to the La. Department of Health’s (LDH) Louisiana Drinking Water State Revolving Fund.  Includes funding for the General Program, Lead Service Line Replacement Program (new direct funding category within DWSRF) and Emerging Contaminants Program (new direct funding category within DWSRF).  States are allocated 1% each from the fund with additional funding allocated based on a needs assessment completed every four years.  Louisiana gets about 1.5% of the fund allocation every year.

Louisiana Drinking Water / Wastewater Increased Investments

*Proposed by Governor in FY23 Executive Budget from remaining ARPA funds.  Will not be final until end of Legislative Session.  This is a new grant program that funds similar projects that fall under the CWSRF and DWSRF programs as well as some Capital Outlay projects.
